So, I’ve realized that blogging (for me) would be far easier if I’d just post short little snippets from my life.
But then what use would twitter be?
I’ve tried to solve the problem by finding a way to have WordPress automatically import tweets and make “mini-posts” from them. Unfortunately, I’ve yet to find a suitably awesome transformation engine that turns my thoughts into PHP code. I suppose I could actually try to pick up some PHP, but that’s just a bunch of hooey.
My Search continues. If any of you happen to stumble onto this morsel of a post and know of such a neat little wonder, let me know (widget implementations need not apply)!

Not much of importance has happened since my last post.
I work, I go to class, and I do stuff with Student Activities. About all I’ve been doing in the past couple of months. Incredibly busy.
Did go see Brand New in Tulsa last Thursday, and it was jawesome. They played a huge variety of songs over their discography including motherfucking “Seventy Times Seven”. Amazing.

Probably the least retarded use of the Kanye meme so far.

Whee, I’m not a bonafide working man, now. Managed to get the Internship! :D

Yup, it’s the 21st anniversary of my escape from the womb.
Pretty damn exciting. I can now legally drink alcoholic beverages, gamble, serve as a prostitute, purchase a handgun, and buy fireworks in the state of New Hampshire.
How’s that for exciting.

I’m so far behind on my post-per-day thing that I think I’ll call it at that.
It was a good run, I got a lot of posts in. Was fun.
I actually do plan to post more frequently in the future, just not every day. I’ll try not to let it lapse for months, though, as I have in the past. :-P

Catching up on what is probably one of my favorite TV shows of recent memory: The Office, Season 5.
Only one question really remains: why didn’t I do this earlier?
Addendum: YouTube sucks and took down a shakey cam clip from The Office I had linked. Fuck ‘em.

Yup, it’s that time of year again. Team Flower Power keeping it real, defending our title of best team for cardboard boat demolition.
For those of you who don’t believe me, it’s very possible for cardboard to float. In fact, a nearby town hosts a “get together”, if you will, of cardboard boats and puts on cardboard boat racing, demolition, and other assorted venues of merriment.
And yes. This is my third year being involved with these shenanigans. Our team, Flower Power (originally coming from the friend who introduced the art to me… ’s sister), has won the demolition derby three years in a row personally, and a fourth if you consider the “Dads” team that won it the year before ours. This year’s competition was held on Saturday, July 25 at the famous Sandy Beach.
Pictures and more info after the break.
