From the far reaches of the Intarnat, I bring you the guy that brought you <a href=\"http:\/\/www.galador.org\/blog\/some-weird-guys-trying-to-take-over-my-blog\/\">this<\/a>.  Come, children, and hear about his next &#8220;great&#8221; adventure&#8230;. er, post.<\/i><\/p>\n<p><p>So, this isn&#8217;t some biased opinion, it <em>actually<\/em> makes sense. Here&#8217;s the thought. We, America, are right in measuring the weight of objects and people in pounds (lbs). Right now you&#8217;re thinking 1 of 3 things:<\/p>\n<p>1) Stupid American who is waaaay to biased to have a valid opinion, and being American, wouldn&#8217;t have an intellegent opinion anyway.<br \/>\n2) Hell yeah! America RAWKS. I mean, pounds&#8230; pounds rock!<br \/>\n3) I really shouldn&#8217;t have eaten that third soft taco.<\/p>\n<p>To people in category one, here&#8217;s my answer: Pounds make more sense than (kilo)grams because pounds are a measure of actual weight whereas the kilo(gram) is a measure of mass. Weight is gravity&#8217;s <em>pull<\/em> on that mass. It&#8217;s different, yo&#8217;.<\/p>\n<p>Dudes in group two: *high five*  Ewww, you could at least clean the burger grease from your hands&#8230; without licking them.  *shudders*<\/p>\n<p>And number tres: No, no you shouldn&#8217;t have.<\/p>\n<p>-Nofirefrog<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Hi guys! galador again.
